Parco_Roccolo

Roccolo Park, established in 1991 to protect the area and promote agricultural development, is a natural wonderland with many places of particular interest. The great variety of its trees and flora and the traditional farm buildings found there, are all testaments to its very long history. The circuit, which winds its way through delights of nature and various landscapes, over meadows and fields and through woods, is approximately 5 km and open all year round. Starting from the resort town of Parabiago in Ravello, you go through Ravellino up to the farm of the same name, which even today maintains the characteristic elements of traditional Lombard farmhouses. Near the farm you will see a small vineyard from which the locals obtained an excellent wine.

Following this road, turn right and then, shortly thereafter, again on the right, after the old stables, you will find the entrance to the Roccolo woods. Having passed through Roccolo, you reach a local road, where you turn left and go into the forest. You arrive at a path that runs along-side an industrial building , and continue to the local country road then turn left near the grove of trees and continue along a path and then go to the left, along the route of a disused power line back to the old stables.
